RAG, short for Raising and Giving, is a student fundraising organisation which operates across the entire university, and the Trinity branch has a reputation for being one of the most effective, contributing over £20 000 to the effort each of the past two years. RAG raises around £150 000 each year for charitable causes ranging from disease research and cancer care to fighting poverty in this country and in the third world. We do this by collecting on the streets of Cambridge with buckets (known as raiding) and by organising fantastic events such as the famous Pyjama Pub Crawl, the RAG Blind Date, Auctions, Jailbreak, Carnivals, Fashion Shows, Beer Festivals and Rubber Duck Races on the Cam!
If you're interested in volunteering or want to find out more about events coming up, please get in touch with one of the RAG team.
Our next major event is the Pyjama Pub Crawl on October 28th (Tuesday). Buy a ticket for £4 from one of our reps and get the most fantastic offers you ever saw in the Cambridge pubs. Pyjama dress code optional. Includes 25% off everything at one of the pubs (details to follow).
